These are just a few words expressed by visitors on first seeing Wallaman Falls - the highest sheer drop waterfall in the southern hemisphere (over 300 meters in height). Our first stop will be at historic Noorla Heritage Resort within the quaint sugar town of Ingham. Then, enter a Time Capsule of Evolution to view the falls - the World Heritage Listed Wet Tropics Rainforest of North Queensland is the oldest continual surviving rainforest in earth. The day also includes a visit toTyto Wetlands Interpretive Centre a part of Australia's largest urban wetlands rehabilitation project.
